Santa Barbara Medical Innovations now has patent rights to the promotion and distribution of Zerona, the newest non invasive and non-surgical body slimming device presented by Erchonia Medical.
The deal was in excess of $500 million for the patent rights of the highly recognized Zerona laser and the partnership includes cash, milestone compensation and equity sharing in exchange for total sales. It also has distribution rights and promotional rights across areas in North America.
Alongside Santa Barbara Medical Innovations, the medical company will expand the distribution of the Zerona laser treatment in the United States market and position the low-level laser device as one of the most efficient and safest alternative to weight loss surgery.
Zerona has been featured on popular television shows like Rachel Ray and The Doctors.
